The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova The Historian is a great go of mystery, thriller, and the supernatural. It is split into 3 epic parts. It starts off in outstanding of The Netherlands with a 16 year old girl issue into her father study and finding a bear with a dragon wood print in it. She asks her father what it int destination and although it seems painful for him to tell, he shares with her the written report of how he acquired the hold and what it means. The hold in then flashbacks to when the father, which later on his name is revealed to be crownwork of Minnesota, was in the 1950s. This is where some other important character is introduced. His name is prof Bartholomew Rossi and he is one of capital of Minnesotas vertical friends. He shows capital of Minnesota a book that he has that is similar to the one Paul has and shares what he calls his madness. The derangement of the search for Vlad the Impalers befogged tomb. Vlad the Impaler has been speculated to be genus Dracula and Rossi is convert that Dracula is still alive. Rossi ends up disappearing and Paul is left with his notes and his letters to lead him on the path. On this path he meets stumbles upon the professors daughter, Helen, and the mates proceeds to look for Rossi and bar his work of finding Dracula. The difficulties and irresolution that they must go through is really what gets the book moving. The book is a real pageboy turner and it go off take in suspense with retributive a few pages of events. By the end you get a certain connection to each of the characters and you indispensableness them to finish their move of finding Rossi and ultimately finding Dracula. The smasher of the whole story is that the referee feels like the young girl. Whenever Paul stops carnal knowledge the story and it goes back into her point of view, the reader feels the same unease that the main character must go through until she can figure out a counsel to coax another piece of t he puzzle out of him.
